[Mold design] The classic structure of the slider inside the slider
When we design the mold, we always encounter some more complicated mold structures, such as the slider inside the slider, the inclined top inside the mold slider, the thimble out of the slider, etc. Today I will share with you a classic structure of the slider inside the slider.
This plastic product has two side holes, it can't be out of the mold when it is made of ordinary slider, it is necessary to design the slider inside the slider.
First, design two small sliders, and the inclined surface has dovetail grooves, and the ejection direction of the small sliders is the direction of the red arrow.
When the small sliding block slides, it needs to make a pipe position, and the back mold core needs to open a guide groove, as shown in the figure:
Design the insert to drive the small slider and match the dovetail of the small slider, as shown in the figure:
The oblique guide column drives the slider to pull the core sideways, and the small slider is driven inward through the dovetail groove to complete the side hole core pulling.
